Positioned on the edge of a large park, it offers a short 20-minute walk to Milngavie town centre. From there, you can catch direct trains to central Glasgow or begin your journey on the West Highland Way. Additionally, the stunning Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are just a half-hour drive away.

Space

The property features two bedrooms upstairs, including one with a king-size bed and another with a double bed. Additionally, there is a spacious downstairs living room with an optional sofa bed that can accommodate two more guests.

Downstairs, you’ll find a bright and welcoming open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, perfect for relaxation and socialising. There’s also a separate living room and a utility area equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher. The property includes two bathrooms, one of which features a bathtub.

The house features its own private entrance, along with both front and back gardens, and a private driveway that accommodates up to three cars. You will have full and exclusive access to the entire home during your stay.

Karen and Alexandre, the property owners, invite guests to enjoy the seasonal fresh plums and pears from the front garden trees, as well as the homegrown rhubarb from the back garden.

Transit

The property is a short 8 minute drive from Milngavie train station, there is parking available at the train station.

Notes

If you would like to use the sofa bed, please let me know prior to your stay as linen will need to be arranged.

We can arrange rental of a travel cot if needed during your stay.

Please note, check in is not available on the 25th of December and the 1st of January.

The property is located in the small town Milngavie, just outside Glasgow. This town is a great place to explore over 150 quality shops, boutique fashion outlets, restaurants and pubs. If the Scottish weather is on your side, enjoy a delicious ice cream from the award winning Colpi Ice Cream Parlour, located in the town centre. The house sits near the start of the world famous West Highland Way, as well as having many excellent walking and cycling routes that start and end in nearby.
