Beautifully decorated, it provides guests with the ideal base to explore this fabulous city on Buchanan St / The city’s Style Mile. Featuring plenty of open-plan space and room for guests to relax, this is a luxurious way to enjoy your city-center escape. With a large booth for dining and a fully-equipped kitchen, you can easily cook at home if that’s your plan. Our huge living room TV will also help you unwind after a long day out exploring, where you can watch TV, stream on smart apps like youtube/Netflix (if you have an account) or even pick up a good book and sink into our large sofas. This large apartment hopefully caters for every guests’ tastes and needs when they are away and we’d love for you to come and try the space out for yourself.

Transit

5 minute walk from Central and Queen Street Station. 2 minute walk from St Enoch subway which takes you to the west end. Everything city centre wise is in walking distance also with google maps being a useful tool for anyone unsure of navigating Glasgow’s city centre (either on foot or in a car). The airport can be reached in 15 minutes in a taxi or the airport express bus runs from various locations, the closest being George Square.

Notes

When 4 or less guests are selected we assume you will not use all of the bedrooms and we set the beds to include 2 people per room. It’s absolutely not a problem to make up the extra bedrooms but we would ask you to select appropriate number of guests to cover the additional linen and laundry costs. Thanks

We like to give our guests space to enjoy their time in Glasgow but we are available should there be any issues or if you have any questions.

Neighborhood

The property is quite simply in the most central location, right on top of the second busiest street in the UK. Despite this, the home is tucked away in an alcove, offering guests the feel of tranquility close to all shops, bars, museums, and bars. Buchanan Street is bookended by St. Enoch Centre and Buchanan Galleries – huge malls housing the best high street brands with everything from John Lewis to Hamleys, Victoria’s Secret to Topshop. Nestled in the heart of the street you’ll also find the original House of Frasers store that has a history dating back to 1849; Argyll Arcade, widely regarded as the finest jewelry center in Scotland and home to over 60 luxury jewelry and watch retailers; and Princes Square, a speciality shopping mall that houses designer shops, restaurants, bars and a boutique cinema.

On Buchanan Street over the weekend you’ll also come across Sloans Market, a quirky showcase of wears from a great selection of local independent traders. Check out Sloans Bar too – dating back to 1797 and one of the many pubs laying claim to the oldest bar in Glasgow. The Grand Ballroom is a stunning space featuring a magnificent vaulted ceiling, period marble fireplace and intricate stained-glass windows.
